Pay: From $35-$37/hr, based off experience
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified School Social Workers for a full-time position with a partner school district in Acton, Massachusetts. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students emotional, behavioral, and social development while collaborating with teachers, families, and administrators to support student success.
Responsibilities:

Provide individual and group counseling to students with social, emotional, or behavioral needs

Collaborate with educators, parents, and community agencies to develop student support plans

Conduct assessments and develop interventions for students at risk

Participate in IEP meetings and assist in implementing behavioral goals

Serve as a liaison between school and home to promote positive student outcomes
Requirements:

Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution

Valid Massachusetts DESE School Social Worker/Adjustment Counselor License

Experience in a school-based setting preferred
